Sweet and spicy, these delectable banana fritters are perfect for breakfast, brunch or dessert!
INGREDIENTS
- 95g Gluten Free Fantastic Fritter Mix
- 120ml water
- 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 teaspoon mixed spice powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- Butter or margarine for cooking
- Melted dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream and/or frozen raspberries for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a medium-sized bowl, add measure of Fogdog Fantastic Fritter Mix and 120ml water. Whisk until thick and smooth.
- Add the mashed bananas, mixed spice, cinnamon and sultanas to the batter. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1/2 tsp butter.
- Scoop spoonfuls of batter into the pan and fry on each side for 2-3 minutes.
- To melt your dark chocolate, microwave the pieces in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts (30 seconds).
- Serve with your toppings of choice and enjoy!
